Lakshman Gyanpith is located in the beautiful environment and luscious green grounds of Sanskardham. Spread over 125 acres, the campus has various trees, plants, flora, and fauna at every corner. These natural elements help create a relaxing and calming environment for students.
In our approach toward a sustainable future, we practice various activities to maintain a healthy environment, such as organic farming. The produce from our cultivated lands is used at our canteens to prepare nutritious, balanced, and healthy meals.
Various kinds of fruits, seasonal crops and grains, herbs, spices, and medicinal plants are grown by our campus farmers throughout the year. They help students explore farming methods and teach more about giving back to nature.
We have two beautiful ponds on the campus – One natural while the other has been hedged artificially, which adds to the serenity of the campus. The water from these ponds is used to harvest the crops in our fields. Natural manure and compost made inside the campus are used to nutrify the soil, which completes the entire cycle of our self-sustaining initiative.
Every winter, the ponds attract flocks of migratory birds inside the campus. Students get the opportunity to go bird-watching and learn about them through real-life experience.
At Lakshman Gyanpith, every student is encouraged to learn and explore their interests and talents independently. Being among nature brings various thoughts and immense creativity and imagination to them. It inspires them to be curious and explore more and more.
